LaNina Bella was born on October 30,1986 in Manhattan, NY. She was later adopted in the Spring of 1988 and since then resides in Rochester, NY. LaNina proudly represents her ethnic background, which is a unique mixture of African American, Egyptian and Puerto Rican. LaNina became fascinated with modeling at the age of ten when she watched former super model Tyra Banks grace the cover of Sport Illustrated Magazine’s Swimsuit Issue. Growing up, she felt like an outcast and was always getting picked on and told she was not pretty. LaNina didn’t care she loved the modeling world and would play dress up and put on her mothers make up then ask her family members to take photo’s of her. It wasn’t until LaNina was in High School that she would begin to pursue modeling. When LaNina was seventeen she was asked to do a photoshoot for a local boutique. That is when LaNina became familar with the camera and would learn different poses and how to control her facial expressions. Sadly, a year later, her mother passed away from cancer. LaNina was very devistated and took time off to heal. In the Spring of 2010, LaNina found inner strength to pursue modeling again. She has worked with photographers in her home town and has been featured on several modeling sites, flyers, dvd covers and mixed tape covers. Not only is LaNina a gorgeous model, but a very talented singer and song writer, which she also plans on sharing with the world. LaNina is very determined to be more than a house hold name, but a role model for young girls everywhere who get picked on and are told that they are not pretty. LaNina is very driven and believes that she can “sleep” when she dies and that you must work hard to reach your goals. It is only a matter of time before LaNina takes the modeling industry by storm.
